Growth Collection
This collection was a labor of love in exactly that. We pruned away different aspects that we felt were no longer serving the community and our dream for Rhythms Wild. We also have sown lots of new seeds of ideas to see what will grow and we hope you love what we have planted!
Reset Collection
As we launch this new collection, our Reset Collection, we look towards the year that lies ahead of us. We anticipate the seasons ahead of us and begin to look forward to the rhythms that we know are coming. Personally, I can’t wait for iced coffees while I take garden walks in the morning, and the way heirloom tomatoes look on my cutting board, and to hear the whiz of hummingbird wings.
Advent Reflections
Maybe that’s it though. Maybe that’s what, this year, I am supposed to be learning. Learning about grace. Learning that just like that first night when Jesus entered the world, things don’t have to look or feel perfect. Learning that in those moments of imperfection and chaos, we can pause and find intentionality there too. Maybe that grace and intentionality comes in the form of a baby thousands of years ago, or maybe it comes simply from a smile across a table….
Meet Him in the Kitchen
I love the kitchen. I feel at home and confident when I'm cooking. I feel as though I share my love the best when I'm feeding people. It's the place where, not to be dramatic, I meet God. Sure, I find Him in nature too, but that's an easy one, and he’s busy with lots of people out there; and also I sunburn easily. But the creative spirit that lives in each of us, that many people find in a paintbrush or canvas, I find in the kitchen.
Homemade Advent Calendar
It was early on in our friendship and checking in on what we each thought of the “coffee of the day” helped us to build a foundation of love of Advent. Our coffee chats almost every day started lending themselves to Advent chats, daily rhythm chats, and friend chats; and by the end of the season we were bored with coffee but inspired by the joy that Advent brings.
Advent Joys
Our prayer for this season is that you and your home are blessed with Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love as you celebrate! May the light and love of Christ shine upon you and all those you encounter!
Threads of Strength
These women, and so many alike, pass on parts of themselves. They pass them on in nose shape, hair texture, pickle recipes, hand waves, stories of rocking chairs and owls, and in the things they create and love. Every cross stitch and too sweet pickle, comes with a life of strength, stress, joy, peace, and love. We love these things because we love these people.
Tea + Togetherness
Tea has been a long time rhythm in my home. Growing up in the south, there was always a pitcher of sweet tea in the fridge or close by on the counter. The smell of brewing tea is still one of my favorites to this day
The Nouns of Change
With it being a trillion degrees outside, it’s hard to reflect on enjoying the outdoors. Though we know that cooler days are coming, it is so easy to forget that change will come when you’re in the middle of the heat wave. It seems to be that way with change. Oftentimes, we can’t possibly imagine a situation other than the one we are currently in the middle of, particularly when it isn’t the most pleasant of situations.
